Buffalo Partners Equals Wagershare Rogue

On the 1’st of August 2014, Buffalo Partners commenced. However affiliates did not receive an official notification of this merger, until 2014/07/29 by email. It was then advised by Referback (a well trusted and respected affiliate program), that both Referback and Wagershare were to merge into one program, that being Buffalo Partners. Valid concerns raised by casino affiliates for Referback, on both affiliate forums and directly with their affiliate managers, were met with a deafening silence. Clearly an agenda was being set by Buffalo Partners, and a gag applied to Referback. Blacklisted Wagershare, is now in control of Buffalo Partners.

Wagershare Casino Affiliate Program Blacklisted

Affiliates concern, Wagershare rogued and blacklisted for bogus account locking and stealing commissions. Was the Referback program being eaten up by Wagershare, and were they taking control of Buffalo Partners. These valid questions were ignored.

2014/08/04 and four days since Buffalo Partners went live, similarities of between the blacklisted Wagershare and Buffalo Partners are now emerging. A number of affiliates are reporting locked accounts. And previously held bespoke commission deals have been retroactively changed. As the days pass, it’s becoming clear, Wagershare is calling the shots at Buffalo Partners.

An old Referback affiliate myself; holding a bespoke agreement, I ran a whois on BuffaloPartners.com:

Buffalo Partners Renege on Referback Agreements

Retroactively changed affiliate agreements, on the life-time of players, have now been axed at Buffalo Partners. More evidence it is highly likely, that Wagershare is now running the show, at Buffalo Partners. Further more, affiliates were given notice that the casino brands of: River Belle, Mummys Gold and King Neptunes were not being carried over to Buffalo Partners. Worse, affiliate partners were only given a couple of days notice, to remove these brands from their websites. Tracking to these sites after 2014/07/31 would cease to track players.

Dodgy Online Casino History has checked as of 2014/08/04 and a tagged link to River Belle Casino is still active. Does this mean, that while River Belle, Mummys Gold and King Neptunes remain open-for-business, any affiliate referring links, are being ignored, yet these players are being tagged to Buffalo Partners? That’s clearly what is happening here!

The lack of forewarning, aligns itself to the unethical conduct, which Wagershare embraces. For affiliates who have a single site, removing River Belle, Mummys Gold and King Neptunes isn’t a major drama. Yet for the majority of casino affiliates, they have multiple portals. In these cases, it is next to impossible to remove all these links, in couple of days. Hence, it’s the opinion of DOCH, that this sheer lack of notification, to remove these gaming properties, was left to the last minute, to ensure Buffalo Partners, received a abundance of free players, from their affiliate partners. That is so like Wagershare’s modus operandi.

Given how the Referback and Wagershare merger has played out, it’s the firm opinion of Dodgy Online Casino History, that Buffalo Partners casino affiliate program, is in control of the blacklisted Wagershare. It’s also the opinion of DOCH, affiliate partners should be extremely wary of what’s taking place. And in our opinion, in your best interests, to avoid working with Buffalo Partners.

  1. Sad to see River Belle go it opened in 1997. The discontinuation of River Belle, Mummys Gold and King Neptunes does not affect players, these casinos will remain open for business. But they wont be tracking referred affiliate players. It is why affiliates must removed these links because these casinos are still allowing players to register. Referback wouldn’t do this to their affiliates. Wagershare have proven they don’t care about affiliate partners and stealing referred players, I wouldn’t put it past Wagershare.
